Why we built andika
A tool that started as one team's internal fix for a problem every writing team has.

David Kessler
Founder
Before andika, I ran content for a 12-person marketing team, and our biggest recurring problem wasn't writer's block — it was consistency. Everyone had their own voice, our style guide was 40 pages nobody read past page 3, and I was quietly rewriting a third of what came through my inbox just to keep things sounding like one brand.
I tried the generic AI writing tools available at the time, but they all had the same issue: they wrote in their voice, not ours. Every draft still needed a pass to sound like us again.
andika started as an internal tool to solve exactly that problem; teach the AI our voice instead of asking it to invent one. Once a few other teams heard about it and asked to try it, it became obvious this wasn't just our problem to solve.

Most AI writing tools generate generic text and leave you to make it sound like your brand. andika works the other way — it learns how your team already writes, then helps everyone stay consistent with that voice as you scale.
